Consider

What I didn't know?

I synthesized qualitative and quantitative insights into a clear product vision and prioritized opportunities for improvement.

Usability gaps inhibited users from finding full value

Concept

What was the Challenge?

I combined qualitative and quantitative research to identify user needs, force-ranked opportunities against the roadmap, and adapted the information architecture to support product priorities. I then created lightweight feature representations to communicate direction and align stakeholders.

Incorportating usability improvements into roadmap

What to build?

The roadmap required us to update the app's identity access management. After I reviewed persona scenarios, I created user stories, a journey map, and user flows. My churn analysis helped further define projects.

Create

Pulling it together

Each of these two projects have their own “Consideration” process, but for the sake of this story line. Below are the results of the “Creation” Phase.

Project 1: A new setup flow, Project 2: In app education (in the form of tours) Updated Credential Page

How’d it turn out?

We believed updating the setup flow would result in increasing users completion of the credentialing process. We knew we succeeded when credential completion rate was above 30%.

Signup completion rate was increased.

What else did I do?

As the principal designer at cloudability I evolved the applications visual elements and UX patterns. Here are a couple more examples.
